You can easily delete your account, should you wish to do so.
If you have any active investments, you will need to sell them and withdraw the money to your bank account in order to close or delete the account.
As interest is paid on the 15th of the month, you'll need to wait till your final interest payment is made and then withdraw this money too.

Closing your account from the Website
Sign in to your account Click 'My Account' at the top of the screen, Click 'My Details', scroll to the bottom and click 'Close Account'.
Closing your account from the App
Sign into the App, go to 'My Account' at the bottom right of the screen, 'My Details' and 'Delete Account'.
Good to know
If you have opened an account but not yet invested, that's okay, likewise if you needed to withdraw your investment for other purposes. You don't need to delete the account, it can remain open with a zero balance until you are ready to use it.
Due to HMRC reporting requirements and regulations we may need to keep your information on our files if you have invested with us into an ISA. We will however close the account for future investments.
We are legally bound to maintain your details only for as long as is necessary. In this instance, your account must not have been active for 5 years and have a zero balance before we can erase your records completely.
